The relationship between Mexican and American officers has been strained by the recent background checks. American personnel perform regular mandated polygraph test to ensure that there isn't corruption within Mexican security. However, the president of Mexico, Enrique Pena Neito doesn't agree with the policy that was implemented by United States agents, and he believes that it's in their right to deny the U.S. these privileges. In response, President Obama has agree to converse with President Nieto to discuss possible boarder security reformation.

Ecstasy is also known as Clarity, Disco Biscuit, Eve, Hug Drug, Lover's Speed, MDMA, Happy Pills and Peace.


Ecstasy acts as a both a stimulant and psychedelic, producing an energizing affect, distortions in time and perception. This drug can cause the user to experience the sensation of enhanced enjoyment and pleasure.

Cocaine


Cocaine is a highly addictive drug that can be risky even the first time you use it. Common side effects include increased heart rate and blood pressure, but seizures, cardiac arrest and even death are a real risk with this drug. Cocaine has other names such as Blow, bump, C, candy, Charlie, coke, and snow.

Powder cocaine is a hydro-chloride salt derived from the processed leaves of the coca plant. "Crack" is a type of processed cocaine that is formed into a rock-like crystal.

Lysergic Acid Diethylamide (LSD)


LSD is one of the strongest hallucinogenic drugs. It can disrupt the normal functioning of your brain, possibly for the short term or possibly for life. LSD goes by the names acid, blotter, cubes, microdot, yellow sunshine, blue heaven, and Cid.


LSD disrupts how your nerve cells and the neurotransmitter serotonin interact throughout the brain and spinal cord. By disturbing the normal functioning of the brain, LSD distorts visual judgment, sensations, moods and feelings. Some users experience terrifying thoughts, feelings of despair, fear of losing control, fear of insanity or even death. When you're completely unable to get a grip on reality, it becomes very easy for an unexpected, fatal accident to happen.

Marijuana

Marijuana is a green and brown mix of dried flowers, stems, seeds and leaves from the hemp plant Cannabis sativa. The main active chemical is THC (tetrahydrocannabinol), which moves quickly through the bloodstream to the brain and other organs throughout the body.39 Marijuana is a mild hallucinogen that can also act as a depressant or a stimulant.




Heroine



Heroine is also known as Smack, horse, brown sugar, dope, H, junk, skunk, white horse, and China white.

Heroin is an opiate and a highly addictive drug. It's produced from morphine, a naturally occurring substance that comes from the seedpod of the Asian poppy plant. People can inject, snort or smoke the drug in order to get it into their systems.

Drug Trafficking Statistics


The Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) makes over 30,000 arrests each year related to the sales and distribution of illegal narcotics.
  1. •Over 32 percent of all inmates in state prisons in the United States were either under the influence of drugs or in possession of drugs when arrested (that number is above 25 percent for federal prison inmates).
  2. •Drug trafficking in Mexico is a business worth over $50 billion per year.
  3. •It is believed that the loss of the drug trafficking industry in Mexico would cause that country’s economy to shrink by over 63 percent.
  4. •Illicit drug use is associated with several leading causes of death in the United States, including suicide, homicide, motor-vehicle injury, HIV infection, pneumonia, violence, mental illness and hepatitis.
  5. •There are over 4,400 DEA officers currently working full time in divisions dedicated to fighting drug sales and drug trafficking across the United States.
  6. •In 2008, the DEA seized the following amounts of drugs within the borders of the United States: Cocaine: 49,823.3 KGs, Heroin: 598.6 KGs,Marijuana: 660,969.2 KGs, Methamphetamines: 1,540.4 KGs, Hallucinogens: 9,199,693 individual units
